Understanding Your Invoice
Every invoice answers four questions: what you are paying for, which period it covers, how much, and by when. Here is how to read each part.
The Line Items
Each line shows the product, your server IP, and — most importantly — the billing period it pays for:
cPanel - VPS bundle - 203.0.113.7 (Jul 26, 2026 – Aug 26, 2026)
That date range is the service period this payment buys. Some lines have no period because they are one-time charges:
- Late Fee — a one-time 10% charge added on the due date if the invoice was unpaid (how late fees work)
- IP Change Fee — for license types that charge for IP changes
Invoice Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unpaid | Awaiting payment — pay before the due date |
| Paid | Done — the license period advanced automatically |
| Overdue | Past the due date — a late fee applies and service is at risk |
| Void | Cancelled — you owe nothing on it (e.g. after cancelling the service, or when merged into another invoice) |
| Refunded | Payment was returned |
Why Your Expiry Date Updates Only After Payment
Your license's period advances when the renewal invoice is paid — not when it is issued. If your dashboard shows the old period, it means the renewal invoice is still unpaid. Pay it and the new period appears immediately. This is by design: you get what you have paid for.
One Invoice Per License
Every license bills separately. Three licenses = three renewal invoices (unless merged — see below). Paying one does not renew the others.
Merged Invoices
If you had several unpaid invoices, support may combine them into one invoice with one due date so you can pay everything at once. The merged invoice lists every original line (tagged with the source invoice number), the originals become Void, and no new charges are added by merging. More about merging
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I paid but the invoice still shows unpaid. A: Card payments confirm in seconds; crypto payments confirm after the network confirms (usually minutes). If it is still unpaid after 30 minutes, open a ticket with your transaction ID.
Q: Why is there an invoice 7 days before my license expires? A: That is the renewal invoice, issued early so you have a full week to pay — or so your wallet can auto-pay it instantly.
Q: Can I get one combined invoice for all my licenses every month? A: Ask support — invoices with the same due date can be merged so you make a single payment.
